This summer I nearly moved to Ottawa for my dad’s new job. I was not happy, because we had a lot of vacations planned and we needed to be in Toronto for them.
Don’t get me wrong, I like Ottawa, but I just like Markham better. It has better parks, better more places to visit, and so much more. Also I don’t think that Ottawa has a badminton team for schools. Also I would be far from my really close friends that aren’t from school.
I also think that Ottawa is too far up north, and there are no good beaches.
Overall I’m just really happy that we didn’t move.
